You’ll do a real job, with responsibilities and deliverables, whether you’re embedded within our research and development (R&D), commercial, manufacturing or corporate functions. Throughout you’ll be part of our global finance community, gaining a solid grounding in financial management.
What will I learn?
You’ll develop a sound understanding of financial management through a series of challenging, in-depth work placements and through study for your CIMA qualification. These rotational placements will give you a detailed insight into a large, multi-national company.
Where can I work?
Our Finance Future Leaders Programme is available in the countries listed below. During the three-year programme you will spend at least two years in your local country, but we’re a truly global organisation, so you may find the opportunity to gain international experience in the future.
What’s expected of me?
You will be an integral member of the finance team, with your own area of responsibility and deliverables. In addition, we’ll expect you to get involved in projects, often working in cross-functional teams. This means you’ll need to build working relationships with people at all levels of our organisation. You’ll analyse and interpret data to identify and understand trends, insights and facts. You will use strong communication skills to explain financial concepts clearly to non-finance partners. While on placement, we will expect you to grow your business understanding. Not least, we want you to keep developing new skills and knowledge wherever you find the opportunity.
What do I need to succeed?
Whatever your degree, you’ll need ambition, business acumen, a genuine interest in finance and a self-motivated, proactive approach.
