Junior Accountant (September 2017)
KPMG Accountants delivers personalized support for companies, non-profit organizations, public administrations and consultancy services in regard to accounting, VAT, direct taxation, administrative support and legal obligations.
KPMG Accountancy services are provided to a broad range of industries and companies, both national and cross-border, with a particular emphasis on small-to medium-sized enterprises.
As an Accounting Assistant, you will assist clients in carrying out their bookkeeping and you will assist in the year-end closing and the financial reporting. Furthermore, you will prepare the VAT declarations and assist with tax controls.
Meanwhile, the learning never stops. You will grow in the function and the role and will increase your responsibility through contacts with different clients, industries, coworkers and environments. You'll learn a great deal about each client's business, leveraging the experience of other team members and the global KPMG network.
We are looking for students who have or will soon hold a university degree in Commercial Engineering, a major in accountancy is a plus, Commercial Sciences or (Applied) Economic Sciences for our offices in Ghent, Antwerp and Brussels.
