The host company is currently looking for a candidate to join their DevOps department, developing Electronic Content Management (ECM) and Business Process Management (BPM) tools. 1 position is in Maidenhead and 1 in Central London. The host company will make the decision of who works where.
Maidenhead is a large affluent town and stunning area in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, in Berkshire, England. It lies south of the River Thames (although at Maidenhead the river runs north-south so the town is in fact on its west bank). Maidenhead is 25.7 miles (41.4 km) west of Charing Cross in London (40 min by train to central London).
London is the capital and most populous city of England. London is a world cultural capital with a population of over 8 million.

Are you eligible?
ESPA vacancies are open to all EU passport holders able to travel to the UK for an educational work placement, without the need for visa documents.
A strong interest in full stack development and new technology
Ability to learn quickly and work with others
Logical thinker who likes a challenge
Computer Science, software Engineering or other related/relevant disciplines
Experience in the use of programming languages
Some experience or knowledge of LINUX, for example REDHAT, CENTOS or other
Ability to pick up new technologies
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of some of the following would be useful.
Familiarity with or awareness of Agile, Scrum or an appreciation of project management processes.
Knowledge of coding languages, for instance Python, Ruby or Java, C++ etc.
Some knowledge or awareness of any automated testing tool, such as Jenkins.
Knowledge or awareness of Amazon web Services (AWS)
Experience of Configuration Management Systems for example Chef, Puppet or Ansible
Experience of source Code Management Systems for example Git
English should be B2/C1 minimum

Non-EU students can also apply if they are studying in the EU and can get the Erasmus+ grant.

BENEFITS: All ESPA’s services are free for students and alumni. The benefits are:
Paid Utility Bills (electricity, gas, water and council tax) + Internet Access
Commuter travel to work (accommodation will be found within an acceptable commuting distance from the workplace, if that requires more than a sensible walk then a bus/train ticket will be provided).
This will be sourced and managed on your behalf by ESPA. These benefits have an approximate value of 700€-1000€ per month (depending on location).
