We organise over 150 events a year covering multiple-industries, from high level strategy through to technical legislative dossiers. This includes off-the-record briefings with senior decision-makers from the EU institutions & member states.
Through our EU Committee we create a forum to meet policy-makers and hold close dialogue with the EU institutions and other members with specialist knowledge. Job description

An exciting opportunity to join the British Chamber team in Brussels for anyone interested in looking to gain valuable experience in business administration. You will assist and support the Finance & Administration Executive with the smooth running of all aspects of the business administration. (Note: we do not accept applications from candidates who have previously applied for this role.)

Key Responsibilities
Assist in all financial administration and the production of timely and accurate management intelligence (invoicing, purchases, reminders, VISA cards, etc);
Monitoring and updating the integrity and completeness of our systems (CRM, CMS and Accounting System) and assisting our customers in the management of their accounts and event registrations;
Assisting in facility management – coordinating possible work of contractors, ensuring optimal organization and maintenance of the office space and management of support services such as IT;
Individual management of ad-hoc projects

Searched Profile

Bachelor’s Degree (minimum near completion) in a relevant discipline (E.g. Business Administration, Finance, International Business etc.).
Excellent English. Proficiency in French or Dutch would be an advantage.
IT literate and interested in technology as a vehicle to make progress.
Methodological mindset, data driven, attentive to detail.
A team player that can also work independently
Discrete and absolutely reliable.

We offer

Compensation: The intern should receive a net contribution of 755€ towards expenses (if applicable taking Erasmus/Leonardo Grant eligibility into account)
