Energy Efficiency in Industrial Processes
EEIP communication & social media manager (Internship)
EEIP - Energy Efficiency in Industrial Processes is a neutral, open and global platform for energy efficiency in industry. Set-up as a multi-channel network (online, social media, newsletter, magazine, events) and founded in 2011, the EEIP network (Energy Efficiency in Industrial Processes, size 140.000 globally, www.ee-ip.org), became the largest and fastest growing global industry and policy network of its kind. We are running our EU project office under EEIP and our B2B Content Marketing platform under EnergyPages.
Operating in start-up mode, we enjoy working in an open, flexible and entrepreneurial environment. The tasks are challenging, but you would work face to face with our entire team supporting you during all steps.
Shape the future yourself, be part of a winning team. And work on the right topics – energy efficiency and the wider energy transition themes mean greening the economy and a contribution to fighting climate change.
EEIP blog & social media strategies & tactics
Currently, we are moving to a “mobile first” data-driven platform, merging our websites and setting up blog guest writer network and interface. You would support this move, driven by two main objectives:
- increase website traffic
- increase content on EEIP website
Within your area of responsibility, you would manage 4 main tasks
1. Grow the EEIP guest writer network
Search and identify blog writers, build solid relations, invite them to become guest writers for EEIP and engage with them to ensure guest writer incentives are attractive and workflow is user-friendly. Support quality control of guest writer articles (style & potentially content)
2. Add articles to EEIP from existing partners
Add articles to our EEIP blog page using our editor, set-up pre-scheduled social media communication incl. dedicated links for later tracking purposes. Add graphs, photos, videos where appropriate.
3. Transfer articles from the previous website
Articles from the previous website can be uploaded semi-automatically but need review, update and polishing ranging from design checks to update of categorization.
4. Social Media
Support the project office team in its social media work, e.g. identify most relevant channels, followers, post content, analyse EEIP databases to identify, enrich and clean data sets of most relevant target groups, discover new innovative channels, contribute to digital communication outputs related to EU projects, help with concepts and design of offline communication, etc.
Depending on your background and interest, you could also work on our analytics workstream measuring the success of communication as analysing and improving user behaviour
