Many students are reluctant to the idea of an internship. A lot of them have the wrong idea of what working as an intern is like. First of all, get rid of the stereotype of the student whose tasks ...
AKOSIA - Dance without Borders
IMMEDIATE: Intern Social Media Marketing and Sales support
AKOSIA - Dance without Borders
is a start-up offering a new concept of international dance and cultural experiences. We are organising thematic music and dance soirées in and around Brussels (Flamenco, Congolese Rumba, Salsa and other...) and we are specialised in thematic dance trips to the countries of origin of a certain dance style.
We go for example to Cuba for AfroCuban Dances (next trip planned for April 2020) to Spain for Flamenco or to Senegal, Ghana and Cote d'Ivoire for African Dances. The idea is to get in very close touch with local dancers and artists and the people as such - and to know more about the culture and the social backgrounds behind the rhythm.
So dancing for us is more than steps and routines. It is the ideal way to connect with people from other culture and thus form a word of better understanding, tolerance and joy.
To get this fresh business started, reach out to more clients and make AKOSIA more known to amateurs of dance and within the various dancing communities, we need support for our social media marketing and for diversifying our activities there.
The ideal intern would come with a good knowledge in the field of business development and social media marketing. Previous experience with similar projects is a plus. We are looking for a dynamic, curious, engaged, team-oriented and friendly person - with a passion for turning creative ideas into reality. Very good command of English is a must. French will be the 2nd working language. If you speak a bit of German aswell - great.
If you like to be part of something new, exciting and out of the box - this is for you.
We offer an exciting experience with lots of room for creativity in a dynamic environment - and in close cooperation with AKOSIA founder Monika Hoegen. Working hours will be flexible as well as the tasks to fulfill. Interns will also benefit from Monika's vast experience as a communication consultant and moderator as well as her experience and connections with many different countries and cultures in the world.
Above all, we offer a working experience in a small but dedicated, engaged and multicultural team.
We also offer you a valid certificate about your activities and jobs you have done for us at the end of the internship.
