Based at RECY K since 2016, MicroMarché is co-host and partner to different infrastructures like MicroFactory (700m² MakerSpace/FabLab), MicroDesks (160m² ThinkerSpace/Co-work), MicroSpaces (700m² Private space for start-ups and small organizations), La Kantine du Canal (160m² bar/restaurant), 800m² event- & meeting spaces...

Our partners on site are Cr!Art, Aquaponie BXL, Bidules, Looops, Wear a story, Opla, Conserverie, Cachet, MicroFactory, Chromodrome, Bots Conspiracy,...

Together we organize events, co-create projects and offer services to the bigger public.

Job description

MicroMarché is looking for a creative and driven intern to lead an exciting communication project with a strong focus on event organizing and green marketing. 
Tasks include the upgrade of our website, the management of our social media accounts, the creation of a newsletter, the promotion of our events, the monitoring of media and keeping track of the press releases.
 

Searched Profile

We are looking for the following skills:

- bilingual French and Dutch, good knowledge of English
- knowledge in social media management
- knowledge in web- and graphic design
- familiarity in content management
- proficient user of Microsoft Office package
- capability of working in a team as well as independent

We also value some knowledge in photography, video editing and/or animation tools

You will be learning and developing your professional skills in a stimulating environment, developing your communication skills in close relationship with other graphic designers, developers, programmers...
You will be granted access to our fablab (Micro Factory) and its machines (lasercut, 3D print, CNC, silkscreening...)
You will have a personal desk in the co-work space (Micro Desks)
