We offer ambitious and motivated Belgian law students or recent graduates internship opportunity with the prospect for a full-time position in the near future.
As part of our team, you will work with our lawyers advising national and international clients on a range of legal questions. Your tasks will include undertaking legal research, reviewing and drafting legal documents and administrative tasks. You will have your own responsibilities under the supervision of one of our associates, giving you the opportunity to develop team skills in a supportive environment.
Some of the potential projects which would involve you:
1- Work Permit/Residence permit/Visa’s: Assisting lawyers of the firm for preparing the filing of applications of Belgian work permit cards for expats, visa applications, the town hall registrations.
Necessary training will be provided
2- Debt recovery/Invorderingen: Prepare initial letters (aanmaning/ingebrekestelling) with regard to debt recovery (‘invordering’) procedures, prepare filing
3- Setting up legal entities/companies: Set up legal entities, contacting Notary publics, Chamber of Commerce, Banks, etc. depending on what the client wants.
4- Other administrative/legal tasks
§ Very good academic record
§ Fluency in English and Dutch and/or French_ Turkish is an asset)
§ Extra-curricular activities demonstrating leadership, integrity, individuality, responsibility and innovation
§ Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook and Excel)

Working hours : 9.00-18.00 (part time applications are also considered)
Internship is not paid. Transport and lunch expenses are covered.
