The European Medicines Verification Organisation (EMVO) is a Belgian non-profit organisation representing stakeholders united in securing the legal supply chain from falsified medicines.
Its founding members are EFPIA (The European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations), Medicines for Europe (The European Generic and Biosimilar Medicines Association), PGEU (The Pharmaceutical Group of the European Union), GIRP (The European Healthcare Distribution Association) and EAEPC (The European Association of Euro-Pharmaceutical Companies).
1. The job
As the CPM Department Intern, you will be part of the Commercial and Partner Management department
2. The purpose
The intern will support the daily EMVO commercial and partner management activities following the strategic directions of the Head of the Commercial and Partner Management. S/he will be fully associated with the ongoing activities of the Commercial and Partner Management.
In general, a CPM Department Intern will work under one supervisor, concentrating on assisting with the tasks of that supervisor. The supervisor is one of EMVO’s permanent CPM staff members, those being the On-boarding and Communication Coordinator, Project Coordinator & Customer Relationship Manager, Legal Counsel, or Project & Service Centre Coordinator.
Here are some examples of the tasks:
Assisting with the collection and collation of data for EMVO’s Monitoring Report
Assisting with OBP Portal and EU Hub data monitoring, reporting and cleansing
Providing secretariat support to the EMVS PM Community; taking minutes at meetings, support in the organisation of meetings, assisting in providing support to the PMs, and maintenance of the PM contact list
Creation of content and design for EMVO’s newsletter
Creation of Twitter and LinkedIn posts, alongside general social media account management
Maintenance of the EMVO’s website, including updating pages and uploading documents
Second level support/answer questions in the EMVO Helpdesk structure
Support Pharmaceutical Companies in Divestitures & Acquisitions Actions
Support and Assist in the On-boarding of OBPs
Analyse agreements in place between EMVO and other parties upon request
Create an overview of rights and obligations of each party per contract
Create and maintain a list of provisions that will need to be updated/modified/removed in the future
Assist in legal risk assessments
Contribute in the creation of internal polices
Assist in general administrative and financial tasks as required, on an ad-hoc basis
• Pronounced service orientation and a problem-solving mind-set
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Capacity to work independently and with great care
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of English
• Must be a current Bachelor’s or Master’s student and be able to sign an Internship Agreement with EMVO
• A level of appropriate professional experience which corresponds to completed university studies demonstrated by previous work experience.

• A first experience in the pharmaceutical sector/supply chain
