We’re active both on the consulting side and on the audit side. At PwC we develop a unique combination of skills and experiences to advise C-level executives and their direct reports in banks and insurance companies or to support our Audit team as an expert.
Today, risks and regulation are no longer a compliance matter only and this even more when operating in Financial Services industry. Regulation is reshaping the industry and it impacts the business model, strategy, culture, IT-systems and operational processes. This rapidly changing environment creates new opportunities but also new risks. Our role is to help our clients cope with all these challenges.
You’ll have the opportunity to work on a broad variety of assignments in terms of both technical content and type of context.
You’ll be involved in calculating insurance companies’ liabilities as well as employers’ liabilities related to pension plans and in developing risk and valuation models (internal model, VaR, stress test, etc.). Your work context will be both audit and consulting assignments (risk analysis, model development or validation, governance, etc.).
You'll also learn to deal with a large variety of accounting standards (BE GAAP, IFRS, USGAAP, etc.), valuation methods (MCEV, EEV, VIF, stochastic models, etc.), laws and regulations (pension legislation, pension fund legislation, Solvency 2, IFRS4.2 etc.)
Your profile and qualifications
- You have a Master in Actuarial Sciences and/or Engineering
- You’ll graduate at the end of this academic year or have up to two years of experience.
- You're a born team player and you take initiative. You have a critical, analytical mind, you are client-oriented and a good communicator. You're keen to keep on learning and developing throughout your career.
- You don’t walk away from challenges, seeing them more as opportunities.

You’ll join a team of professionals specialised in finance, mathematics, statistics and programming in our Brussels office.
