Brand new Belgian company Cowboy will be storming the market this spring with an innovative and gorgeous e-bike for the urban riders. It’s as feather light as an electric bike can get: 16 kilos of efficient and delightful design. An e-bike designed to improve your mobility in the city and take you to your destination faster! Soon everyone will want to become a Cowboy, and ride the new electric two-wheel drive we’ve all –subconsciously- been waiting for.

Cowboy is a digital native, vertically integrated brand and the product will be only sold via online channels. As Customers feel it is important to test & feel the product Cowboy will be offering Test Rides where Customers can test the bike, ride it for a while and ask all kind of questions. As the customer journey is almost entirely digital this will be the only direct contact with the Customer, making it a critical moment and an opportunity for Cowboy to create a magic customer experience

Cowboy is looking for people who are building and developing business by making the Test Ride a magic customer experience and convert people who are interested into tangible sales. The Business Developer should be able to

  • inspire trust - by having an in-depth expertise of the Cowboy and its fit in the urban environment and the market
  • radiate passion - by having a strong connection to the Cowboy, cycling and urban mobility in general
  • make an immediate connection - by being empathic, social and fun while keeping an aura of expertise without being arrogant or ‘in your face’
  • be dynamic, hands-on - by being mobile, coping with unforeseen circumstances
  • deliver a smooth and error free experience - by being structured and being flawless in planning
  • create a magic journey for the Customer

As a Business Developer you will

  • Develop Business for Cowboy by being an expert and being able to radiate passion to potential Customers
  • Become an expert of the Cowboy, knowing all its ins and outs
  • Communicate this expertise on a daily basis via chat, call, face-to-face or email communication
  • Plan Test Rides and/or meetings with potential customers and/or group of customers
  • Do the Test Ride and meet all kinds of people with all kinds of questions
  • Follow up after the Test Ride
  • Be responsible for your sales as your key activity
  • Revert customer feedback to the Engineering and Manufacturing team to enable them to continuously improve the product
  • Have the opportunity to grow in your role by potentially lead the team of Business Developers or move to key accounts

Profil recherché

We are looking for a entrepreneurial person who

  • Has 0-3 years experience
  • Holds at least a Bachelor degree, ideally in Business & Economics or Engineering
  • Is tech-savvy, background or degree in bike mechanics
  • Has a clear passion for bikes and/or urban mobility
  • Has experience with business development and/or partnerships
