Video Editing & Post-Production Intern

Pacson Music School ASBL is a growing international music education and cultural nonprofit organization based in Brussels.

We are currently recruiting 2 Video Editing & Post-Production Interns to join our Media, Marketing & Communications Team starting in December 2026.

As we continue expanding our music programs, concerts and cultural activities, we are producing an increasing amount of video content.

We are looking for creative, motivated students passionate about video editing, visual storytelling and audiovisual production.

Your Responsibilities

• Video Editing: Edit footage from concerts, student performances, rehearsals, interviews and promotional activities.
• Social Media Videos: Produce engaging Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, YouTube Shorts and other short-form content.
• Long-Form Content: Assist with editing full performances, interviews, behind-the-scenes videos and promotional documentaries.
• Post-Production: Add subtitles, transitions, graphics, visual effects and basic animations.
• Audio & Video Synchronization: Work with multitrack audio recordings and video footage from live performances.
• Color Correction: Improve visual consistency and overall video quality.
• Footage Organization: Help organize our existing video library, raw footage and editing projects.
• Creative Collaboration: Work closely with our Social Media and Media & Communications interns to develop coordinated content.
• Content Optimization: Prepare videos in different formats for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and our website.
• Event Production: Occasionally assist with filming concerts, rehearsals and other school activities.

Team & Working Environment

You will join our existing Media, Marketing & Communications Team, collaborating with fellow interns and team members on creative projects.

With two video editing positions available, interns will have opportunities to collaborate, exchange techniques and develop their individual editing strengths.

Our team works primarily at BECI – Brussels Chamber of Commerce, in a professional coworking environment surrounded by entrepreneurs and business professionals.

You will receive mentorship, guidance and regular feedback from our Founder & Director and communications team.

This internship offers an opportunity to develop practical editing skills, contribute to creative projects and build a professional portfolio.

Internship Start: December 2026

Duration: Flexible, ideally until March 2027

Compensation: Completely unpaid academic internship, requiring an appropriate academic internship agreement and compliance with Belgian regulations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for two creative, motivated and detail-oriented students who are passionate about video editing, audiovisual production and visual storytelling.

Our ideal candidates enjoy transforming raw footage into engaging, professional content and are eager to develop their skills within a collaborative creative team.

Our ideal candidates:

• Currently studying Audiovisual Production, Film, Multimedia, Digital Media, Communications or a related field.
• Have practical experience using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or similar editing software.
• Are comfortable editing short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, as well as longer performances and interviews.
• Have a good sense of visual storytelling, pacing, rhythm and music synchronization.
• Understand basic color correction, audio editing, subtitles, transitions and visual effects.
• Are organized and comfortable managing large quantities of raw footage and digital files.
• Have strong attention to detail and an eye for visual quality.
• Can work independently on assigned editing projects while collaborating with other team members.
• Are open to constructive feedback and willing to revise their work.
• Are proactive, reliable and capable of meeting agreed deadlines.
• Communicate comfortably in English; French or Dutch is an advantage.
• Have an interest in music, live performances, concerts and creative production.

A portfolio or examples of previous video editing projects are strongly encouraged. Academic and personal projects are welcome.

Previous professional experience is not required. We value creativity, technical curiosity, teamwork, accountability and a willingness to learn.

We are particularly interested in candidates who enjoy working with music-related content and want to develop their skills in both short-form social media videos and longer audiovisual productions.

• Additional Locations: Pacson Music School in Etterbeek and occasional event venues.
• Schedule: Full-time or part-time, depending on academic requirements and the approved internship agreement.
• Compensation: Completely unpaid academic internship. No salary or internship allowance is provided.
• Internship Agreement: An appropriate agreement with your university or educational institution is mandatory. The placement must comply with applicable Belgian regulations.
