SpeakSoon is changing how professionals network at real-life events. We're looking for a marketing intern to help us tell that story.
This isn't a seat on the sidelines. You work directly with the commercial founder, inside a small, fast moving team, from strategy to execution. Content, visuals, decks, event material, campaign ideas: built together, from zero.
There's real room to experiment. New concepts, new creative directions, new copy angles: we're genuinely open to what you bring to the table, and there's budget behind good ideas, not just time.
Events are where a lot of this comes alive. You help prep material beforehand, shoot and shape content on the ground, and turn what happens there into stories afterward. We live in a specific world: real events, real conversations, real connections between people and companies. Being close to that world, constantly, is part of the job.
Working this close to the founders means exposure to way more than marketing. Fundraising, product, go to market: it's all happening in the same room, and you see it. Working at SpeakSoon will massively expand your own professional network.
Our expectations are high and we go at a fast pace: this is a genuine learning opportunity first, with a strong portfolio of real work that we'll actually use as the result. If it's a strong fit, there's room to stay on for a student job after the internship ends.
Join us in making face-to-face networking more effective.
P.S. SpeakSoon is a networking assistant & platform for businesses who want to use offline events (conferences, trade fairs, networking events) to build new relationships. We recommend which events they should go to, help them capture every contact they speak to, and automate all the manual admin work post-event so they can focus on selling.
You're a student who creates. Maybe that's video, maybe that's design, maybe that's writing, but you make things and you don't wait to be told exactly how. You're comfortable with a camera and comfortable turning a messy event into a story afterward. You've got taste: you know what looks good and what doesn't, and you can say why.
You're not looking for busywork. You want to build things from scratch, pitch ideas, and see them actually used. Feedback doesn't rattle you, you want it. You're organized enough to prep for an event and creative enough to make something good happen once you're there.
Dutch and English both work day to day, so fluency in both helps. Comfortable around new people, since you'll be meeting a lot of them, fast. Available at least 3 months, in Antwerp twice a week minimum.
No agency background needed. No portfolio of "professional" work needed. What matters is that you make things, you have opinions about them, and you're hungry to get better fast.
Real ownership from day one, work that actually is used instead of getting thrown away. Direct access to the founders, sitting next to us and learning how a startup actually runs, not managed through layers. Exposure that goes way beyond marketing, since fundraising, product, and go to market all happen in the same room, and you'll see it live.
A network most internships can't match, because we're out at events constantly, meeting founders, professionals, and companies, and you'll build real connections fast. Room to experiment with your own ideas, backed by actual budget when they're good, not just time. Hands-on experience with the AI tools we use every day, with proper guidance on how to use them well.
By the end, a strong portfolio of real, strategic work, plus the potential to stay on as a student job or team member if it's a strong fit on both sides.
We highly value a growth mindset and personal continuous learning so one of our key goals when an intern starts is to make sure they get an opportunity to learn as much as possible, whilst having a good time as well.
