The hotel is established in a historic building, located in the heart of historic Brugge city centre, lined with restaurants, just a minute’s walk from the main train station, ‘t Zand underground car park and opposite the Concertgebouw Brugge concert hall.  It is about a 5-minute walk to Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk church and a 9-minute walk to the medieval Belfort tower.

A perfect location to discover the Venice of the North.  Stroll through the historic streets and discover museums, monuments, and shops, while enjoying sumptuous freshly cooked meals and famous Belgian beers.


The hotel boasts 37 rooms, all with ensuites.  The rooms are well appointed, contemporary, comfortable and cosy with full-size baths and a light and airy atmosphere.  Some rooms come with private balconies overlooking Brugge city and the Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk church in the heart of historic Brugge.

The hotel also housed a well-known restaurant for authentic Flemish dishes and a bar servicing its local diners and tourists for decades.

It includes a beautiful fireplace and seating facing the square with outdoor seating as well.  ‘T Putje has for decades been a favourite place for local patrons and visitors for authentic, delicious Belgian cuisine.  


An excellent opportunity has arisen for students to work during July to September to work in our hotel in Front Office.

Job descriptions:

You will be responsible for all activities relevant to the Front Desk such as the reception, check in / out, rooming of all Hotel guests, assisting them with inquiries. 

Attend to all types of hotel room booking channels such as online, phone, fax, and email or in person-booking ensuring that all reservations and reservation related queries are attended promptly and timely manner.
To be fully familiar with all type of rooms available for sale, codes and rates of each room for sale and special offers (if any) to provide accurate information to the guests and channel partners.
To ensure that all reservation confirmations are sent out promptly including pending request, if any.
Keep clear and comprehensive records of guest room bookings, cancellations and all billings for accountability and future reference.
Ensure all reservations have the correct deposits taken.
To receive and welcome guests to the hotel by greeting them warmly and assigning the guest to the correct room as per their bookings in a timely manner.
Answer telephone, email, fax or in-person queries related to hotel services and resolved any issues quickly and courteously.
To ensure that all charges are correctly posted to the guests’ bills including F & B (if any).
To undertake all general office duties, including correspondence, emails, filing and Switchboard ensuring the smooth running of the reception area.
Prepare and record accurately all record of sales such as cash/credit card/cheque transactions including rooms and F & B bills (where applicable) and reconcile them at the end of each shift and report to the Manager including any anomalies (if any).
To ensure the security of guests’ property, and lost properties following security procedures.
To ensure that all messages received from guests are passed on accurately and as quickly as possible.
Report any issue of maintenance and malfunctioning appliances to the manager for quick repair in order to ensure guests comfort and satisfaction.
To undertake any other reasonable duties directed by the Management.
