We are a small start-up with 10 people located in Gent and overseas. Our team is a mostly technical (3 PhDs and 3 Masters in Engineering) Members of our team have successfully built 8 companies in 6 countries.


We are looking for a passionate HR and admin assistant who can take care of the following HR and admin related tasks of SmartEnds:

  • Payroll
  • Salary and package negotiations with our employees abroad
  • Inclusion and diversity
  • New hirings and interviews
  • General administration
  • Payments
  • Incoming and outgoing invoices
  • Online Procurement of electronic components
  • Shipment tracking and delivery
  • Basic book keeping
  • communication with accountants and other legal bodies etc.

Working requirements

We are looking for a student that can work on average half to one day per week until end 2018. Hours are flexible 

Ideally, we are looking for a student that fits the following criteria

  • Social and happy to talk with people on the phone and in person.
  • A good working knowledge of excel and word
  • Fluent spoken and written English (conversational Dutch/ French would also be useful)
