Looking for a company that's hiring in Belgium? Whether you’re still studying, searching for an internship, or you’ve just graduated, you’re definitely in the right place. How can I spot a company that’s truly hiring (and not just posting ads for show)?
Check if they publish several recent job offers, if the descriptions are detailed, and if the company responds to applications. Regularly updated listings are usually a good sign.
Do large companies hire more than smaller ones?
Not necessarily. Large companies often recruit in higher volumes, but SMEs and start-ups can offer more varied roles, more responsibility, and faster growth.
Which sectors hire young people the most in Belgium?
Hospitality, retail, logistics, healthcare, IT, and administration recruit a lot. For internships and first jobs, engineering, business, finance, marketing, HR, and data are still highly in demand.
Can I apply even if I don’t meet every requirement?

We’ve listed plenty of graduate jobs to help you gain your first real work experience. But a traineeship can also be a valuable first step. A traineeship combines working and learning, you’re already a full-time employee, but you also get the chance to strengthen your soft and hard skills through various training programmes. Even if you’re still studying, there are lots of ways to start working. Student jobs are widely available, for example, a summer job in hospitality can be a great way to earn some extra money.
