To create an account on Student.be, follow these steps:

1. Click on "Login/Register," which can be found at the top right of the website.

2. Register with your personal email address, as your school email address will no longer be accessible after graduation.

3. Enter your field of study, graduation year, and other required information. Make sure to fill in all fields as completely as possible.

4. By filling in your details, you create your own dashboard. Through this dashboard, you can receive job alerts that match your interests.

After creating your account, you can start applying for jobs right away!

To apply for a job, you need to click on the "Apply to this job" button. You can find this button at the top right, at the bottom of the vacancy, and on the left under "In a nutshell."

You’ll then need to fill in some details and attach your CV.

Don’t get discouraged and keep applying for other vacancies that interest you.

If you still haven’t received a response after some time, consider contacting the company directly. This can be done via email, phone, or social media to inquire about the status of your application.

Once your application has been submitted, it cannot be cancelled.

We do not manage student hours. Log in to the Student@Work portal to see your remaining student hours.

Make sure you are logged into your account to read your messages.

It is possible that you accidentally created two different accounts. Ensure that you are logged in with the account you used to apply and where you want to receive the messages.

If the problem persists, do not hesitate to contact us at contact@student.be.

1. Don’t get discouraged and keep actively applying for other vacancies that interest you.

2. Check if the employer has their own website and verify if the vacancy is still active there.

3. If in doubt, you can also contact the employer directly to inquire about the status of the vacancy.

Although we ask employers to remove outdated vacancies, not all of them do.

If you want to delete your account on Student.be, send an email to contact@student.be with your first and last name and the email address you used to register on our platform.

You can deactivate or delete outdated or filled vacancies yourself by going to "My job offers" in your account.

If this doesn’t work, please contact us at contact@student.be, and we’ll be happy to assist you.

To place an ad for a student job on our site, you have to register on our platform.

In order to avoid scams, we systematically check the information before validating the advertisement.

We also contact each owner by phone before posting the advertisement online.

Without news from you, we will remove the ad from our database within 48 hours (excluding weekends).

To remove or deactivate a student room advertisement, follow these steps:

1. Log in with your account. (If you are already logged in, click on "My Account").
2. Click on the "My ads" tab.
3. If you want to permanently delete the advertisement, click on the basket icon next to your ad.
4. If you want to temporarily deactivate the advertisement (e.g., to repost it next year), set the button next to the advertisement to inactive.

Register or log in to the website. Then you can request more information by clicking the “Contact the owner” button on the advertisement.

Student.be is an online platform that connects students and student room owners.

It's up to you to search for the student accomodations that suits you in the "Student rooms" section of our website. Once you have found an accommodation that pleases you, you can contact the owner by clicking the "Contact the owner" button. The owner often also includes their phone number in the advertisement, so you can contact them directly.
