Your impact:
As a Junior Auditor in Financial Services, you’ll make an impact by:
- Contributing to PwC’s purpose of building trust in society through transparent and high-quality audit work.
- Acting as a reliable and adaptable team member, effectively managing your day to enable smooth collaboration and timely, high-quality delivery.
- Ensuring that both financial and non-financial information accurately reflects the reality of how companies operate, empowering stakeholders, (such as shareholders, investors, supervisors, etc.) to make informed decisions.
- Identifying key risks faced by clients, including those arising from a challenging macroeconomic and geopolitical environment, as well as emerging ESG considerations.
- Building meaningful relationships with colleagues and clients to ensure audit excellence and a positive client experience.
- Supporting audit engagements that serve a broad range of stakeholders, including shareholders, investors, regulators (e.g. NBB, FSMA), group auditors, and other key parties.
- Contributing to various reporting streams, including financial statements, regulatory reporting, and non-financial disclosures such as those required under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
- Leveraging automation and digital audit tools to increase efficiency, enabling greater focus on key risks, complexities, and value-added insights.
- Embracing hybrid working (office, client sites) and home by collaborating closely with your team and learning through practical experience, while enjoying the flexibility to manage your workload effectively.
- Learning from a diverse range of experts and specialists across IT, valuation, sustainability, tax, and actuarial services. You’ll also collaborate closely with them, broadening your professional network and deepening your expertise to support both your development and the success of the wider team.
