NEW Talent Pool: let companies contact you about internships banner image

Are you looking for an internship for 2026-2027? Then our new Talent Pool tool could be just what you need.

With Student’s new Talent Pool, employers can discover your profile and contact you directly when they offer an internship that matches your background.

Complete your profile, add your CV, and join the Talent Pool. It is an additional tool designed to support your internship search. You can continue browsing vacancies and applying as usual, while also letting new opportunities come to you.

The Talent Pool is currently available in BETA for students looking for an internship.

What is the Talent Pool?

The Talent Pool is a new space that brings together students who are open to internship opportunities.

By joining the Talent Pool, you make your profile visible to employers with an internship vacancy that matches your background.

They can review the relevant information in your profile, view your CV and message you directly if they think their internship might interest you.

How does the Internship Talent Pool work?

Joining the Talent Pool only takes a few minutes. Complete your profile, add your CV and make yourself visible to employers looking for interns like you. Then, simply check your messages and respond to the opportunities that interest you.

1. Complete your Student profile

Add your studies, skills, experience, language proficiency, and any relevant information about your internship search. The more complete your profile is, the easier it will be to match you with suitable opportunities.

2. Add your CV

Your CV helps employers better understand your background and quickly determine whether your profile matches their internship. Use an up-to-date CV and make sure your contact details are correct. Need help improving your CV? Use Student’s free CV Checker.

3. Join the Talent Pool

Once your profile is complete, you can choose to join the Talent Pool and become visible to employers looking for interns. Go to your profile and indicate that you are looking for an internship.

4. Let employers contact you

When an employer has an internship that matches your profile, they can message you directly through Student.be. You can then decide whether you want to continue the conversation if the opportunity interests you.

Why join the Internship Talent Pool?

By joining the Talent Pool, you add another channel to your internship search. You can continue browsing vacancies and applying in the usual way, while employers can also contact you directly. It clearly lets employers know that you are open to new opportunities.

Discover opportunities you may not have considered

You might be contacted by a company you did not know or about an internship with a job title that differs from the ones you usually search for.

Save time during your search

Your profile remains visible in the Talent Pool while you continue studying and searching for an internship.

Can all employers see my profile?

No. Your profile is not freely accessible to every company on Student.be. The new Talent Pool tool is only available to selected employers with an active internship vacancy. They can discover profiles that may match their vacancy based on criteria such as studies, skills, language proficiency or location.

This helps ensure that the contacts you receive are as relevant as possible.

Can I still apply for vacancies?

Yes, and we strongly recommend it. The Talent Pool does not replace the internship vacancies available on Student.be. It complements your search.

You can therefore:

  • browse vacancies that match your criteria;
  • apply directly to companies;
  • create job alerts to receive new vacancies;
  • use the new Talent Pool tool to be contacted directly by employers.

By combining these methods, you increase your chances of finding an internship that suits you.

How can I make my profile more attractive?

To encourage employers to contact you, make sure your profile contains enough relevant information.

You can include:

  • an up-to-date CV
  • your current studies
  • your specialisation
  • your professional or student job experience
  • your skills
  • the tools you know how to use
  • your language proficiency
  • your location
  • your ideal internship

Do not have much experience yet? You can also mention study projects, volunteering, involvement in student organisations or student jobs.

Ready to let employers come to you? Complete your profile, add your CV, and join the Talent Pool so that employers looking for an intern like you can contact you directly.
