- You’ll assess the business processes and internal controls of banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions operating nationally and internationally. You’ll also play a key role in prudential supervision as part of regulatory audits.

First year duties include (depending on your assignments):
- Verifying company’s financial data, such as cash balances and trade receivables.
- Reviewing fixed assets and ensuring accurate valuation.
- Participating in client stock counts and observing inventory procedures.
- Preparing audit files and ensuring compliance with Belgian and international accounting standards (e.g., ISA).
- Assisting in prudential audits and understanding the regulatory landscape for banks and insurance companies.
- Supporting sustainability reporting and assurance, including analyzing compliance with frameworks like CSRD, EU Taxonomy, GRI...
- Collaborating on domestic and international projects, building expertise in corporate reporting and sustainability.
- Visiting clients on-site and being a point of contact for the client throughout the year.
