Business Development Intern

At Caramel Publishing, we create fun and educational children’s books, sold in more than 65 languages.

As an intern, you won’t be on the sidelines. You will support the company in developing new B2B opportunities within the publishing industry. 

You will assist with market research, sales strategy preparation, business presentations, and commercial analysis while gaining hands-on experience in international publishing and distribution.

What you’ll do

Research potential distributors, retailers, and business partners in Belgium and international markets.

Identify and support new B2B sales opportunities for our publishing catalog

Assist in preparing professional presentations, pitches, and sales materials

Conduct market and competitor research within the publishing industry

Requirements

Good proficiency in Excel

Familiarity with Canva

Strong communication skills in English

Knowledge of French or Dutch is an advantage, but is not mandatory

Internship Details

Location: On-site in our office in Brussel (Schaerbeek)

Internship type: Unpaid internship

Duration: 3 months

Students eager to gain experience in a real international company.
