Being selected for the Daikin International Traineeship was a dream coming true for me. I got this amazing opportunity to explore my interests by working in different departments with different people from all backgrounds, which was invigorating on another level. Daikin being a large global company boasts an enriching multicultural environment which helped me attain a global perspective and opened my mind in many ways, both professionally and personally. 

Although what enticed me the most about the traineeship was the flexibility and the constant encouragement I received throughout, to try out different things and not be hesitant in taking initiatives whilst exploring many facets of this organization. Starting my Daikin journey with Consulting Sales in VRV followed by Applied, my teammates dedicated set time to mentor me in every way possible and allowed me to work on some real projects side by side. Even during the unprecedented times of COVID19, the work from home sessions remained interactive and synergetic.

Daikin is a growing multinational company with expanding businesses all over the world and remains at the forefront of HVAC industry which gives you a chance to come up with new ideas and test your leadership qualities. And the traineeship gave me the chance to do just that.

I would recommend the Daikin traineeship to aspiring young adults from all educational backgrounds who desire to keep an open mind and thrive on challenges. This is a perfect chance to know where your strength lies while learning a lot in the process about the company and immerse in the vibrant Daikin culture. I can say with confidence that I have learned a lot from this experience and more importantly forged some great relationships with people which will stay with me forever.
