We are looking for a well-organized automotive/logistics enthusiast who loves new challenges and will help us to run our logistics department. Responsibilities:
Day-to-day organization of car delivery procedures.
Liaising with leasing and transport companies in Belgium, France, Luxemburg and Netherlands about ongoing queries.
Coordinate car pick-ups and deliveries through external transport companies or in-house drivers.
Documentation/administrative processing
Monitoring vehicle transport and delivery ensuring timeliness and compliance with laws and regulations.
Communicate and cooperate with vendors, co-workers, and 3PL provider.
Control inventory by managing capacity at our vehicle compounds.
Assist in the planning and execution of logistics activity.
Review, verification, and reconciliation of shipping documents (inbound/outbound).
Audit freight costs.
Carry out clerical work, including typing and editing documents, correspondence, and reports for the logistics department or assigned.
Assist sales agents and customer service agents in a timely manner to ensure clients receive answers quickly.
Support with developing and preparing complex databases as well as verifying input and calculations.
Collect and send invoices to the appropriate department.
Ensure all payments are processed on time.
Follow quality service standards and comply with internal corporate procedures, rules, and regulations.
Perform other duties, as assigned by Line Manager
