As an intern at Goodshift, you won’t be boxed into a single role.
You’ll work closely with the founders on building and growing a mission-driven startup that helps people find meaningful work and helps impact-driven companies find the right talent. Depending on your interests, strengths, and the stage of the company, your work can span strategy, product, growth, operations, content, and community.
This internship is designed for students who want to learn how an early-stage startup really works, by doing the work that actually matters.
What you’ll do
- Support the day-to-day building of Goodshift across different domains (growth, product, content, operations, partnerships)
- Help improve and test our platform, user flows, and onboarding experiences
- Contribute to research on careers, impact sectors, and talent needs of purpose-driven companies
- Create and iterate on content (writing, research, interviews, community initiatives)
- Take ownership of small projects from idea to execution
- Think along strategically about how Goodshift can grow and create more impact
What we’re looking for
- You’re curious, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity
- You care about meaningful work, impact, and building things from scratch
- You’re not afraid to take responsibility and ask questions
- You like learning fast and wearing multiple hats
- You’re currently a student (bachelor or master level)
What you’ll gain
- First-hand experience in building an early-stage startup
- Close collaboration with founders and exposure to real decision-making
- A steep learning curve across strategy, product, and growth
- Ownership and trust, your work will actually be used
- A strong reference and network in the impact startup ecosystem
This internship is ideal for students who don’t just want to “do an internship,” but want to actively contribute to building something meaningful.
