Your new mission

Hi there

We are Retro Brussels

A new non-profit organisation in the heart of Brussels

We are looking for an adult (18+) to help support our project:

Tasks:

Administration, logistics and simple bookkeeping

Track and receive payments.

Provide Client Experience: mailing, tailored service, promotions,...

Taking reservations and practical processing of them.

Drawing up Planning of events, staff,...

Organising events to promote the non-profit association and Be-Here: Retro gaming, karaoke, dance course, competitions, workshops, guided tours, quiz...

Advertise and provide content on Classical and Social Media, flyering,...

Here is an overview of our activities:

Pomelo Vintage Shop and Bar

Up- and recycling of mainly clothing, decoration material, media and small furniture.

Offering individualised recycling bins.

Selling drinks and snacks

Manage stock

Retro Brussels Brocante:

Organisation of a 2 weekly second hand collector and artisan market.

Rollerland Brussels:

An original, sporty and affordable alternative to engage in sport and relaxation in a pleasant safe and sheltered environment.

Rental and maintenance of rollerblades and protective equipment.

Providing roller (Intitiation) lessons and shows

Maintaining reservations, administering groups, providing offered formulas with drinks and snacks.

Overarching:

Creating opportunities where people can meet others.

Attracting additional audiences to Be Here's other actors

Registration of-and communication with-Members

Organise events and themed periods.

Optimise full cycle of consumer journey.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for:

Someone motivated to support and build our business.

You have to be minimum 18 years old.

The ideal intern is polyvalent: Take care of daily administration. Organising events, visual and content creation, serving clients, on- and offline marketing, logistics,... We have flexible hours, sometimes an evening or weekend is part of the job.

Knowledge of English is a must, French or other languages is a plus.

You will have the opportunity to:

practise your languages, come into contact with all possible profiles

get to know sectors of the modern economy

gain a wide range of experiences

choose your own preferences on what you want to focus on

leave your mark on the functioning of the company

be part of the management team

help organise and participate in various original events
