At the end of March, three MSc students from IÉSEG, Mejda AGREBI (MSc Business Analysis & Consulting), Nour JAIT (MSc International Business) and Sara FAYSSE (MSc International Business), took first place in the 2020 edition of the Deloitte Luxembourg Young Women Challenge.

Since 2015, this Challenge has sought to champion female roles in audit, tax, and consulting, providing innovative ideas on how to improve gender balance in the working environment. Teams of students are asked to come up with a “creative and innovative project” that proposes concrete actions/ solutions in these areas.

More than 130 teams took part in the competition this year. The team of three IÉSEG students were selected for the final rounds at the end of March, and were invited to submit a final presentation to the jury.

The three students note: “This was an incredible opportunity for us and, as women, we truly believe that it is among our duties to contribute to gender balance within the workplace and we hope that our suggestions would have a positive impact on it”.
