Depending on the team you join, you will have different kinds of tasks

• You’ll gain more insights into financial performance by analysing data and transforming it into actionable insights.
• You’ll expand your knowledge in accounting or audit.
• You’ll gain a better understanding of the clients’ businesses by turning numbers into insights.
• You’ll learn to rethink strategies based on global shifts in behaviours, expectations, and markets that are impacting how people make financial decisions.
• You’ll learn how to give advice to clients in corporate finance and managing commercial real estate.
• You’ll gain more experience in how to identify, assess, and manage risks posed by the interconnected network of third-party relationships.
• You’ll learn how to identify risks and how to help the management remediate these risks.

• You are in the final year of your bachelor or master’s degree or your pre-final master year.
• You are highly motivated, and a reliable team player with a sense of initiative.
• You are fluent in Dutch and/or French and have a good knowledge of English.
• You have a critical mindset combined with good analytical skills.
• You are curious about how a business is managed.
• You have a good business sense: general interest in and knowledge of economics and finance.
• You show proof of deep financial skills like knowledge about the P&L, balance sheet, margins,…

Practical information

During the internship, you’ll develop your soft and technical skills and expand your network as you work with professionals who share their experience and coach you. A dedicated promoter will connect with you bi-weekly to evaluate your progress and assist you when needed. You will also be assigned a buddy, whom you can reach out to at all times! You and your buddy will have several informal meet-ups on a weekly basis to discuss day-to-day issues and solutions.

If you’re interested in the Finance field of interest, please apply online. If you can, explain your preference for a specific team or specific tasks in your cover letter, together with the duration of your internship. The exact period can be defined together with the university. Preferably, the internship is a compulsory element of your course, which your college or university can confirm by providing a certificate.
