ABOUT FOODIZ

Foodiz is Belgium's leading digital canteen and catering service. We serve companies such as the European Commission, Danone, Eurostar and Decathlon, among many others.

WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR

You don't need to know our stack already. You do need to:

• Ask "why" before you write any code
• Try first when you're stuck, then ask, and say what you already tried
• Own your work until it works in production, not just on your laptop
• Take direct feedback without taking it personally, and give it back
• Want to be excellent, including the unglamorous work that takes

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Ship features that real users rely on
• Fix production bugs by finding the root cause, not just patching the symptom
• Automate things like CI/CD pipelines, Azure deployments and internal tools
• Learn how senior engineers approach design, security and scale by writing design docs and having them reviewed

WHAT YOU'LL WORK WITH

Go, TypeScript (React, Next.js, React Native), Azure, GitHub Actions and Sentry. You're not expected to know any of them on day one.

WHAT YOU'LL GET

THE PRACTICAL SIDE

• Duration: 3 to 6 months
• Paid internship, based on experience
• Language: English day to day [French or Dutch is a plus]
• Remote first

REQUIREMENTS

You live in Belgium, don't need visa sponsorship now or later, speak fluent English, are studying for a Bachelor's or Master's degree, and can start as soon as possible.
