You will support the team throughout the complete event journey — from the first commercial opportunity to the event itself and the follow-up afterwards.
• Support the organisation of corporate events, conferences, meetings, workshops, networking events and brand activations.
• Translate client briefs into clear operational requirements.
• Help prepare event timelines, run sheets, checklists and internal briefings.
• Coordinate requirements with our internal teams.
• Follow up on deadlines and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
• Participate in client meetings and site visits.
• Understand clients' objectives and help translate them into the right event experience.
• Support communication with clients before, during and after their events.
• Welcome clients and guests on-site.
• Help ensure a smooth and professional experience from arrival to departure.
• Assist with room layouts, furniture, signage and event setup.
• Coordinate catering, AV, technical requirements and other event services.
• Liaise with suppliers and external partners.
• Support setup and breakdown.
• Be present during events and help solve operational issues quickly.
• Identify potential corporate clients, agencies, associations and communities that could organise events at re(space).
• Research new prospects and identify relevant decision-makers.
• Support outreach and lead-generation activities.
• Participate in prospect meetings and venue visits.
• Help prepare commercial proposals, presentations and event offers.
• Follow up with prospects and existing clients.
• Keep opportunities and next actions updated in our CRM.
• Identify opportunities to turn one-time event clients into recurring clients or broader re(space) business opportunities.
• Support cross-selling opportunities between Events, Offices, Design & Build and Workplace Experience.
• Identify relevant partners, agencies, communities and organisations.
• Help develop collaborations that can generate events, leads and visibility.
• Support re(space) networking events and community activations.
• Help bring new audiences and potential clients into our spaces.
• Build relationships with event professionals and business communities.
• Identify interesting moments and stories from events that can be used for communication.
• Coordinate with Marketing to capture relevant event content.
• Support promotional campaigns for our venues and event packages.
• Research event trends, competitors, agencies and new concepts in Belgium and abroad.
• Contribute ideas for new event formats, packages and commercial activations.
We’re looking for someone who is organised, social, entrepreneurial and proactive.
You:
• Are studying Event Management, Hospitality, Business, Marketing, Communication or a related field.
• Love organising things and making sure everything comes together.
• Have a commercial mindset and enjoy meeting new people.
• Are comfortable reaching out to prospects and developing new relationships.
• Are confident communicating with clients, suppliers and colleagues.
• Have strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Can manage several priorities at the same time.
• Stay calm and solution-oriented when plans change.
• Enjoy hospitality and creating great experiences for people.
• Are interested in events, business development, workplaces and hospitality.
• Are comfortable with digital tools, CRM systems and presentations.
• Speak English and French and/or Dutch. Knowledge of all three is a strong plus.
• Don’t wait to be told what to do — you spot opportunities and act on them.
By the end of your internship, you won’t just have “helped with events.”
You’ll have coordinated real projects, welcomed clients, supported pitches, contacted prospects, developed partnerships, managed suppliers and helped convert opportunities into business.
You’ll understand both sides of the event industry: how to create a great experience and how to turn that experience into a growing business.

• Direct contact with clients, agencies, suppliers, partners and business communities.
