Community, Communication & Events Internship - internship offer at Pulse Foundation
first-job

Your new mission

We're looking for 1 dynamic intern to join our Communication & Events team at Pulse Foundation. It's a small team that's increasingly using AI to work smarter, not just harder.

You'll work across several of our programs, supporting impactful communication and well-executed events, while getting a front-row seat on the AI tools and workflows that help our team punch above its weight.

This internship is ideal for students in Communication, Marketing, or Business, as well as young professionals or recent graduates looking for genuine, hands-on work experience, in a purpose-driven, creative, tech-savvy, and highly connected environment.

What you'll do:

📢 Communication

  • Publish and manage content on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook across all our networks (+10K followers in total), with a strong focus on community management and daily engagement
  • Co-create visual content and support storytelling for social media
  • Help with video editing (using tools like CapCut, OpusClips, ...)
  • Assist with newsletters, email campaigns (Mailchimp), and website updates
  • Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Canva AI, etc.) to speed up first drafts, captions, and content research, with guidance from our AI-driven Communications Lead
  • Capture stories and moments that bring our mission to life
  • Promotion of events

🎉 Events

  • Help organise in-person and online events across our programs (planning, logistics, coordination)
  • Be part of the crew during key community moments, occasionally during evenings (with flexible recovery)
  • Document and share event moments for promotion and community memory

🤖 AI & Automation

  • Get hands-on exposure to the AI agents and automations (Claude, Zapier/Make) our team uses to handle recurring tasks
  • Help test, refine, and document AI-assisted workflows for content drafting, captioning, and CRM/data organisation
  • Bring your own AI habits to the table and help us spot where manual work can be automated

Who are we looking for?

Who you are

  • Real experience in digital communication: publishing on LinkedIn, community management, and content creation for Facebook/Instagram. This is one of the main focuses of the role, so it's required, not just a nice-to-have
  • Genuinely at ease with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) in your daily work. We're not looking for someone merely curious, we need someone who already uses them naturally and well
  • A motivated team player with strong initiative and a creative mindset
  • Comfortable (or eager to learn) with Canva, video editing, WordPress, and Mailchimp
  • Trilingual is a plus (EN + FR and/or NL), bilingual also works perfectly
  • Flexible, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-moving, collaborative environment

Not sure you meet every single requirement? Apply anyway, as long as you have real experience with digital communication and are genuinely comfortable with AI tools, since those two are non-negotiable.

Everything else, we're happy to teach you. We strongly believe in inclusivity and learning by doing, and we'd love to hear from you even if the rest of your profile isn't a 100% match.
