Your new mission

Your new mission

Do you want to see how a global company attracts, recruits and welcomes its young talent? As HR intern at Unilever Belgium, you take ownership of our employer branding and intern recruitment. You build partnerships with schools and student organisations, organise campus events, recruit our next interns and make sure they get a smooth start.

Who are we?

We are the local HR team of Unilever Belgium, based in Anderlecht. We support the business with recruitment, employer branding, onboarding and learning events, and we work closely with the Benelux (BNL) Employer Branding team.

Main purpose of the internship

You make Unilever visible as an employer for students and run a smooth, well-organised internship programme, from the first contact on campus to the intern’s last day. You get real ownership, including a budget, and learn how HR operations and employer branding come together in a large organisation.

Your key responsibilities

  • Employer branding: building and managing partnerships with student organisations and schools, and managing the related budget.
  • Organising campus events and representing Unilever at job fairs and on campus.
  • Leading the recruitment of interns for Unilever Belgium: from internship requests and vacancies to selection and hiring.
  • Managing onboarding communications for new interns (NDA, badge, safety onboarding and learning platforms).
  • Running HR check-ins and follow-ups with our current interns, and organising learning events and sessions.
  • Presenting employer branding and intern recruitment updates to the local management team.
  • Supporting the Benelux Employer Branding team and following up payroll-related tasks for interns.

  • You have strong people skills and enjoy working with many different people, from students to senior managers.
  • You communicate clearly and with confidence, and you are comfortable presenting.
  • You are well organised and keep an overview when many things happen at once.
  • You are flexible, proactive and comfortable switching between tasks.
  • You are fluent in English and in French or Dutch.
