Internship Business Controlling – Corporate Planning Division

Join our Corporate Planning Division and contribute directly to strategic decision-making within a large international manufacturing environment!

As a Business Controlling Intern, you won’t just support reporting, you will actively help the business understand its performance, identify improvement opportunities, and drive profitability. Your analysis will be used by management to steer key business decisions.

🚀 What you will do

• Perform gross margin, net sales, and order entry analysis to support senior management and board-level decision-making

• Analyse Profit & Loss statements across business units to identify key profitability drivers

• Translate financial data into clear business insights and recommendations

• Support pricing strategy reviews and cost optimisation initiatives to improve product profitability

• Participate in strategic discussions and meetings with cross-functional stakeholders

• Contribute to ad hoc financial analyses and performance tracking

• A student (Bachelor/Master) in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field

• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail

• Interest in strategy, performance management, and decision-making

• Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment

• Good knowledge of Excel

• Strong communication skills in English (French/Dutch is a plus)

• Hands-on experience in business controlling within a large manufacturing company

• Exposure to real strategic decision-making processes

• Practical experience with tools such as SAP and internal financial systems

• Development of both analytical and strategic thinking skills
