You will support the team from the first design idea to project delivery and the content that tells its story.
• Research workplace trends, interior concepts, materials, furniture and finishes.
• Help translate client briefs into mood boards, visual references and design directions.
• Explore how spaces can support focus, collaboration, hospitality and everyday use.
• Contribute ideas that balance aesthetics, functionality, budget and project requirements.
• Organise references and material selections so the team can compare options clearly.
• Support the preparation of layouts, furniture plans and presentation drawings under the team’s guidance.
• Help develop 3D views, concept visuals and client presentations using the tools you know.
• Explore alternative layouts, colours, materials and furniture combinations.
• Refine visuals following feedback from the team and clients.
• Keep drawings, references and presentation files organised and up to date.
• Use generative AI tools for images, video and text to support concept exploration and project communication.
• Write and refine prompts using design briefs, visual references and the intended audience.
• Create visual variations, mood imagery, storyboards and short video concepts.
• Edit and combine AI-generated assets with project photography, drawings and existing brand materials.
• Check outputs for visual consistency, spatial plausibility and alignment with the actual project.
• Clearly distinguish concept imagery from completed project photography in presentations and content.
• Share useful workflows and help the team build a library of reusable prompts and references.
• Research suppliers, products, furniture and finishes that fit the project brief.
• Help request samples, collect product information and compare options.
• Support project schedules, meeting notes, action lists and follow-ups.
• Participate in site visits and help document progress, decisions and outstanding actions.
• Coordinate information with the design team, suppliers and project partners.
• Work with Marketing to turn design concepts and project milestones into engaging content.
• Help prepare project case studies, presentation decks, social visuals and short videos.
• Capture or organise photographs, material details and behind-the-scenes content.
• Explain the thinking behind a space: the brief, design choices and intended user experience.
• Adapt content to re(space)’s visual identity and tone of voice.
• Help prepare clear, visually coherent design proposals and pitch materials.
• Support the team in presenting concepts, material choices and project progress.
• Research references relevant to a prospective client’s sector, workplace and needs.
• Contribute ideas that help clients understand the value of our Design & Build approach.
We’re looking for someone who is creative, curious, organised and proactive, with an eye for spaces and a practical interest in AI.
You:
• Are studying Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, Spatial Design or a related creative field.
• Have a strong interest in workplaces, interiors, materials and hospitality.
• Understand the basics of layouts, scale, composition, colour and visual presentation.
• Have working knowledge of relevant design, drawing, 3D or visual editing tools.
• Have practical experience creating content with AI image, video or text tools and can show examples.
• Can move beyond a first AI output: refine prompts, select useful results and edit them into a finished asset.
• Enjoy combining creative ideas with practical project constraints.
• Are comfortable receiving feedback and developing your work through several iterations.
• Have attention to detail and can manage several priorities at the same time.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, clients and suppliers.
• Speak English and French and/or Dutch. Knowledge of all three is a strong plus.
• Take initiative and enjoy learning by contributing to real projects.
• Hands-on experience contributing to real Design & Build projects.
• Exposure to the journey from brief → concept → design development → delivery.
