Your new mission

Your new mission

Do you want to bring an iconic brand to life, in the supermarket and out on the street? As Brand Experience intern for Lipton Ice Tea, you help plan and run activations that get people talking about the brand in Belgium and the Netherlands. From creative briefs and POS material to sampling actions and online win campaigns: you see your work go live.

Who are we?

You join the Lipton Ice Tea marketing team for Belgium and the Netherlands (BNX): 8 team members and 2 interns, one per market. We work in an agile way, with daily stand-ups and bi-weekly sprints across both markets. Our in-home (IH) and out-of-home (OOH) teams work closely together on 360° brand activation, from strategic planning to execution in stores and in the field.

Main purpose of the internship

Our goal is to deliver impactful brand experiences and to make Lipton Ice Tea the brand people think of first, at home and on the go. You support the team in turning campaigns into consistent, well-executed activations across retail and field, and you own a few projects from start to finish.

Your key responsibilities

  • Field activations: supporting the planning and execution of in-home and out-of-home activations, including point-of-sale (POS) material and coordination with external partners.
  • Briefing and asset creation: writing creative briefs for banners and visuals, and working directly with the Unilever design studio to deliver on-brand assets on time.
  • Lipton Club: managing our online win-activations platform, from briefing agencies and reviewing designs to coordinating with webmasters and making sure prizes are delivered.
  • Sprint planning: taking part in bi-weekly sprint reviews and planning sessions, reflecting on past activities and setting goals for the next period.
  • Weekly POS check-ins: following up activations, deliveries and communication with our warehouse partner, and gathering feedback from stakeholders.
  • Analyses: supporting strategic decisions with analyses of shelf execution, visibility and placement effectiveness, and competitor analyses.
  • General brand support: campaign execution, feedback loops with field teams and internal coordination, for example for sampling activations.
