SUMMER CAMP CO-ORDINATOR

CLL runs language camps & activities designed for young learners.

As part of its long-term partnership with the International School of Brussels (ISB), CLL organises SUMMER CAMPS on the following dates:

29 June until 3 July

6 until 10 July

13 until 17 July

17 until 21 August

Location: Watermael-Boitsfort (Brussels)

Schedules: from Monday to Friday from 8:00AM until 5:00PM

We are looking for a: CAMP CO-ORDINATOR

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of -and in collaboration with the CLL Head of the Summer Camp @ ISB program, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the summer camp program for children ages 3-12 from an operational point of view (welcoming parents & participants, guiding participants and instructors on the campus, answering questions,…).
• Coordinating the daily camp activities, discussing and help resolving problems, questions, or other concerns that may arise.
• Ensuring proper use of the ISB campus facilities and equipment.
• Ensuring all paperwork is kept accurate (attendance lists, class rosters,…).
• Supervising children and ensuring their safety and general well-being (children can’t be left unattended).
• Ensuring health and safety procedures are in place and strictly followed.
• Providing an enjoyable experience to the participants.

• You are a student at higher education/University level.
• You have previous experience working with children (as camp co-ordinator or instructor, as animator -scouts -, as youth programs co-ordinator, in a recreation park,…).
• You are able to work as a team member.
• You are energetic, motivated, and responsible.
• You have excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• You have a C1 level in English and a B2 level in French.
• You are well-organized, can multitasks and prioritize.
• You can provide the certificate of good conduct (model 596-2).
• Certification in First Aid is a plus.
