A Japanese street food concept for those who are craving authentic yet accessible sushi experience.

Fresh fish, simple operations, and delicious flavors.

Founded in 2022, we are dedicated to bringing the freshest and most delicious starters, handrolls, rice bowls, and maki to your table. We pride ourselves on using only the highest quality and sustainable ingredients and preparing each dish with care and precision.

This summer we're hosting a food truck at Maasmechelen village and we’re looking forward to welcoming anyone eager to create and live a true Japanese experience by joining our team!

WHAT ARE YOUR DUTIES ON AN AVERAGE DAY:

• As an real ambassador of Roru you greet our and service our guests with a big smile. You make sure they have an unforgettable experience and leave our restaurant with a satisfying feeling.

• You’ll work at a restaurant front of house and help your colleagues with some basic prepping

• You prepare and sell our Take Away products with love and precision

• You are responsible for the daily MEP of the counter before opening the restaurant

• You take the payment and make sure to greet the guests enthusiastically when they leave

• You take care of cleaning after your working day

• You use the appropriate equipment and devices and maintain them professionally

• You scrupulously respect hygiene rules (HACCP: wash hands – expiry date – FIFO – product temperature – …)

• You are tidy, enthusiastic, and diffuse positive energy

• You are resistant to stress: you keep your cool in the case of a problem or a large crowd

• You work carefully, in an organized and fast manner

• Strict standards and rules do not scare you

• You are flexible, as are we! Working some weekends are a part of your job, but we have respect for personal requests (where possible)

• Experience: appreciating quality products and tasty dishes is necessary. Hospitality experience is a plus, but not a requirement

• Language skills: English
